Student Service Learning Opportunities

  • Sweatpants Drive: Bring a pair of sweatpants to Nurse Razian, the nurse, for hours. 
  • Can Tabs: Bring in Alunimum can tabs to Mrs. Bulkley. She is collecting these for service hours. 

  • Pee-Wee Concession Stand needs workers on Monday and Tuesday evenings. See Angela Brooks at the concession stand to sign up. 

  • Dancing Ranch needs workers on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm – 10pm (From September 20th to October 31st). Sign up with Mrs. Scoggins. 

  • Bingo at the Community center Oct 5 and Nov 9th. Need @6 kids each night to help. Please let Mrs. Tweedy in rm 119  if you can do this.

  • The Texarkana, Arkansas Baseball Fields will be hosting Weekly, Monthly, and Seasonly cleanup days where students can come and pick up trash, pressure wash, weeded throughout the baseball park. They will have different task here and there all year long even when the fields are not being played on! Fro more information, contact Mercedes Mcroy at mcroy.mercedes@yahoo.com.
