My name is Michael Folse and this is my 10^th year as an educator. Previously, I have taught in both Louisiana and Texas, most recently  spending 8 years at Texas High School in Texarkana, TX, teaching Pre-AP Biology.

After more than a decade as a restaurant manager, I completed my degree program earning a Bachalor’s of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in Biology from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. I have also earned a Master’s of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Arkanasas State University in 2017. 

I am certified to teach Biology Life Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science in Arkansas. I am a STEM certified educator by the National Institute for STEM Education, as well as a Google Certified Educator.
